CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE - Temporary

Role Summary 

At Home Ownership Providing Energy(HOPE)we rely on knowledgeable professionals to interact with our valued customers who have questions or concerns. We’re looking for a skilled call center representative on a temporary basis, to join our team, and assist with a company initiative.

Under general supervision, the Call Center Representative will be responsible for professionally responding to telephone and email inquiries, maintaining customer satisfaction as the guiding principle in all decisions and actions.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Answer telephone calls promptly, maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Place outbound calls to gather required information.
  • Monitor emails and action accordingly.
  • Assist customers with updating their applications and records.
  • Maintain ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of a caller’s request, including follow-ups with the escalation team.
  • Document and track interactions with customers for auditing and reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Minimum 1 year of call center or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of applications in the Microsoft Office Suite – mainly Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers while using software systems.
  • Accountable and results driven.
  • Critical thinker/problem solver.
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and flexible in adapting to change.
